What is the difference between tinted and colored contact lenses?

Answered By Tim Lockhart, Editor

Tinted and colored contact lenses are types of soft contact lenses. They are normally used to augment the color of your eyes. Tinted lenses can boost light colored eyes. Make sure not to use tinted lenses if you have dark eyes since it will not have any effect. On the other hand, colored contact lenses are suits anyone with dark or light colored eyes.
