Can I wear my contact lenses when swimming?

Answered By Tim Lockhart, Editor

Yes. You may opt to wear your contact lenses when swimming and after a considerable advise from your eye specialist. However you must be cautious wearing your contact lenses when swimming because your eyes may be irritated when pool dirt and other bacteria goes into it.

Some preventive measures are wearing goggles when swimming and immediately cleaning or replacing your contact lens after swimming.
