What are hard and soft contact lenses?

Answered By Tim Lockhart, Editor

Hard contact lenses are the type of lenses which offers clearer vision to the individuals who wear it mostly made of hydrophobic plastic. These types of contact lens are not easily damaged. It is believed that hard contact lenses are somewhat arduous to wear because it may cause you uneasiness compared to soft contact lenses.

On the other hand soft contact lenses are usually made from thin, adaptable lens material and water. There are two types of soft contact lenses – daily wear lenses and extended wear lenses.
