This should be obvious you dont want hairspray residue coating your eyes. 5. Be sure to remove your contact lenses before going swimming. The lenses will absorb chemicals from the water. This will destroy your lenses and you will be ordering new ones. 6. Do not sleep in your daily wear contact lenses. This is bad for your eyes as well as the lenses. It is easy to lose them in the bed and recovery is almost impossible. You could also damage your eyes this way. 7. Limit the amount of time you wear your lenses. There is a recommended amount of time you should wear your lenses to protect the health of your eyes.
